The Music

The BGC enjoys a reputation for superb choral excellence mixed with a little fun! And in the light of this anniversary year, here’s what BGC director Dr. David DeSeguirant has to say about this year’s tour program:

“The Glee Club was for years viewed as musical ambassadors for OBU, touring throughout the United States and internationally. In celebration of its 70th year, we will present a varied program of sacred and secular repertoire. To reflect the tradition of extended travel, selections have been chosen to represent Native and Central Americas, China, Japan, the Republic of Georgia, Russia, France, Germany and South Africa.”

In addition to that special segment of the concert, the club will sing great sacred arrangements as well as its always-popular “Traditions” segment (yes, ha ha, they still sing “Dry Bones”!)
